Troubleshooting Tips
If you are in an area where you know there are trout and not getting hits on the trout magnet, here are three common reasons why.
First check the depth. The trout magnet must drift within inches of the bottom.
Color is very important when fishing for trout, try other colors if you not getting hits.
Line flash could be spooking the trout. Try fluorocarbon leaders in the smallest size possible.
If after trying these three things and you are still not catching any fish, then there is not a fish there to be caught.
