TIP OF THE WEEK
Polarized Lenses

I will turn around and go back home to get my polarized lenses if I forget them. When trout fishing it not only helps see the fish but where the fish like to stay. Trout will be in the water that has a transition. When water goes from 1’ deep to 3’ deep the drop off is what I want to hit and without polarized lenses you can’t see those transition areas. Dark seams in a river are easy to see with polarized lenses and that is where the fish will be too. Glass vs plastic lenses is where your cost vs quality comes into play. Glass lenses are superior, scratch less and last longer. The trade of is they can be heavy on your face and cost more. I have used cheap polarized lenses and they still get the job done.
